A great faux-bois ceramic breakfast set by Vallauris brand Grandjean-Jourdan. The house was very famous in the 1950s for those ceramic wood imitations that came in various finishes and colours.
In very good shape to be more than half a century old, it has only a nearly invisible mark on the border of the cup. We also love the nice contrast between the clear wood imitation and the bright plain green colour inside the cup.
Hand painted, this is a great item for any ceramic collector.
